But in reality, Many would be happy with just a few grand a month, for other’s it would be to replace their current income and work completely from home “Fire Your Boss” so to speak. To gauge the success of a home business and ensure that it is proven will be very difficult due to the ultra diverse nature of the home business community.
But, here’s a few pointers to help pick out the winners of the home business crowd.
Longevity: How long has the business been around. Being the first one in the door of the “Sure Thing” brand new business opens you up to the highest potential for risk. Unfortunately, many of these new opportunities are up and gone within 6 months to a year. Taking with it your money, time and effort, not to mention your dreams. So look for something that’s been around for a few years.
Compensation: Proven business don’t generally model themselves off of very low ticket items and huge downlines “MLM” type businesses. These business thrive on massive volume and not sustainable quality. Look for something that has a bit larger payout for you in commissions and makes it a bit more exclusive than the just recruit a 1000 distributors and we’ll all be rich model.
Marketing platform: What platform does the business use to market their product or services. Is it face to face, bringing people to meetings or dropping off samples of products at house parties, Forget it. Bottom line is you need a platform that will allow you to get eyes on your product service or business hundreds or thousands of times a day. As an example, the Internet really gives you the opportunity to scale and make much larger profits.
Product uniqueness: Is the product the same old lotion, potion or Juice. These markets are just ultra saturated and have a very sort lived customer retention rate. And although they may indeed have some fantastic benefits, look for a product or service that’s a little outside of the box.
In the end, your success or failure with most of these businesses will be entirely up to you. A good business will guide you, direct you, mentor and mold you and will eventually reveal itself as a Proven home business. But at the end of the day, there are never any guarantees, with one exception. If you don’t make some changes and take some chances, tomorrow will be the same as today. So find a home business that you believe to be Proven and go for it. You may just change your life forever.
